The Thing That Came From Over There Friday 3rd February…

Posted on: February 2, 2017 in the category latest by Cassie Day

Hi Folks,

We are up and running and looking at a very busy season.

Another fantastic theatre show this week.  Gonzo Moose are an amazing theatre company and I used to manage the young lady in it too! She is Alys Torrence and a comedy actress and performer…  This is a spoof take of the 50’s Horror movies and is absolutely hilarious.

This isn’t a kids show but is suitable for ages 8+ should you wish to (and you should) your young one along.  It’s always great to see them coming to the theatre with you.

Here is the link to the show, do take a look and have a little read as I know it will be a fantastic performance.  I have booked them in to Kirkgate and the Coronation Hall too and they have already sold a lot more tickets than us!! (Honesty time)

Forward Theatre Present “Genesis”

Genesis

Tuesday 22nd November 7.30pm Forward Theatre Project Present “Genesis”

Tuesday 22nd November 7.30pm we have a brilliant NEW Theatre show, brand new writing “Genesis” in collaboration between Forward Theatre Project and Breast Cancer Research in Manchester.
Given the subject matter, you might expect it to be either very serious or very preachy.. well.  I was at the Opening Night on Friday at The Lowry in Manchester and it was anything but either of those!

The play is very modern and has a fantastic set.  Futuristic. The three actors were fabulous and the story is relatable and well told.  It’s educative, funny and thought provoking.  It is 1 hour 20 mins straight through and I can honestly say, I was shocked when it was the End as it went so quickly.  I loved it!

We were there with the likes of Sally and Hayley (now dead of course) from Coronation Street, don’t you know… just saying!!  (Not like me to name drop!!!) Sally who plays Sally in the show will be on “Lorraine” on wednesday talking about the play too.  This play is only playing to 5 venues, 2 of which are The Lowry in Manchester and Soho Theatre in London! We are very privileged to receive this show!!! Please do come along, it is brilliant.

THIS IS NOT JUST FOR WOMEN…. MEND GET BREAST CANCER TOO!!!!  Lots of men there on Friday night.

Click here to buy your “GENESIS” tickets.
