The Doonicans are instantly recognisable, with their immaculate hair and their stylish choice of knitwear. Over their 12 year history, they’ve played almost 900 side-splitting shows, bringing smiles and belly-laughs to audiences across the UK from Barnsley to Barnstaple and Glasgow to Glastonbury. Expect a two and a half hour show of that will make Ben Hur look like an epic, featuring a host of Dooni-hits,including ‘Walking In Manp**s’, ‘The Lady In Greggs’, ‘Bag For Life’ and ‘If I Could Punch A Face… It’d Be Justin Bieber’s’, to name but a few.
The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican can’t wait to bring their shindig to The Beggar’s Theatre, and they promise that they WILL rock you… but gently!
