Dracula's Ghost

Dracula’s Ghost by Don’t Go Into The Cellar

When Bram Stoker’s widow welcomes lawyer Mr Leech into her home, there begins a tale of the most feared vampire of all time, of his un-dead life and times, and the remarkable characters he has met down the centuries. An original stage-play concerning the actual story of Count Dracula – prepare for nothing but the bloody truth!

This spine-tingling original theatrical show tracks the vampire king from his destruction at the hands of Van Helsing, through his many incarnations down the centuries. His sole confidante is the grieving widow of Bram Stoker, whose past and future selves are inextricably liked to the count.

Acclaimed actor Jonathan Goodwin plays Dracula, and Sarah Gordon plays Florence Stoker. The show is written by Jonathan Goodwin, and directed by Gary Archer.

‘Don’t Go Into The Cellar are coming back this season with Dracula’s Ghost on Thursday 15th March 7.30pm.

Tickets on Sale!

Join us for a wonderful night filled with live music from “Drunk In Public” and “Slag Bank” and DJ James Henry Tyson to help raise as much money as possible for the Steve Prescott foundation. There also will be a bottle raffle. This Event is for ages 18 and over.

Steve Prescott played Rugby League for St Helens, Hull, Wakefield, Ireland and was a GB Lions Tourist.

In September 2006, Steve was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a rare form of Cancer, he was told that he would not see his two children grow up; he was given months to live. He underwent a major operation in Basingstoke Hospital and tumours were removed from his abdomen. After surgery Steve was transferred to The Christie Hospital in Manchester for chemotherapy treatment to try to control the remaining disease.

The concept of undertaking fund-raising took shape in August 2007, after Steve was Guest of Honour at a Wigan Supporters versus St.Helens Supporters Charity Rugby League match. The game signified the starting point of the Steve Prescott Foundation, with two organisations close to his own heart set to receive the benefits of his own fund-raising activities:

The Christie: The Christie Cancer Hospital in Manchester is one of Europe’s leading cancer centres, treating over 40,000 patients a year. It is one of only two national specialist hospitals that specialises in Pseudomyxoma Peritonei in GB.

Try Assist: Previously known as The Rugby League Benevolent Fund, and aims to support players whose lives are affected by serious injuries while playing the game of Rugby League. SPF Donates 25k to Try Assist Fund

Hey Guys, Just wanted to let you know that we have a Charity Fashion Show this weekend.

“A Skye Full of Stars Fashion Show” is in memory of our wonderful Angel, Skye Mitchell who sadly lost her life alongside the beautiful Caitlin Huddleston on July 14th this year, in a tragic car crash.  We all miss them both dearly.

‘A Skye Full of Stars’ is a charity being set up locally in Skye’s name.  Skye through her heart and soul into raising money for charities and sharing her enthusiasm for life throughout the community.  A talented and valued member of our youth theatre and integral member of our front of house dream team, we want to continue Skye’s legacy in helping others.

Myself and Skye’s family are setting up the charity in order to help other young people in Millom area to further themeslves.  More info on the charity will be posted once it is all official and people will be able to apply for financial help towards their future.

In the meantime, 3 years ago last week, Skye held her very own Fashion show at The Beggar’s to raise money for the charity ‘Children’s Variety’ and was the young ‘Miss Junior Cumbria’ and heading toward being a successful and much loved family member of “Miss England North” team.

We are holding a fashion show this Saturday, as it would have been Skye’s 19th birthday tomorrow, 25th October and to hold this in her memory is an honour for us.  We hope to raise as much money as we possibly can towards local young people but also to celebrate this beautiful girl’s short but amazing life.

We do hope that you will come along, or maybe if you can’t make it, you could donate by purchasing a ticket or buying a raffle ticket or two.
